Vida are a British five piece from Alloa, a small town situated in the heart of Scotland, between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Formed in early 2013 when Nathan Evans (lead guitar) and Ross McShane (bass) reconnected with old school friend Jamie Pollock (lead vocals, guitar). The band was then completed by the integration of Jamie Piggott (drums) later that year and more recently the added luxury of Greg Ballantyne (keyboards).

After a few years of constant gigging between Glasgow and Edinburgh, Vida began to strike a chord with the Scottish Indie Rock & Roll scene with energy filled performances at well renowned venues such as King Tut's Wah Wah Hut and at XFM's This Feeling shows in cities across Scotland. Their music is often cited as a "wall of sound", full of melodies that will take audiences on a reminiscent trip back to the 90's Britpop era.

We're excited to bring you the debut single from Scottish Indie Rockers Vida. Wearing their influences proudly on their sleeve there's a nod to everything great from the Britpop generation in this track, the chiming guitars and attitude you'd expect in any early Oasis single mixed with a The Verve-esque bitter sweet string section, this track is ticking all the right boxes for us.
